My BABY Graduated!/thoughts on peanut allergies

my baby graduated this morning. the youngest of my 5. we had chosen a beautiful dress, lovely shoes to match (which were lost before the event). she put on her dress, and the 2nd best shoes. at this point, she insisted that she needed a necklace. i allowed her to borrow one of mine. she looked beautiful!
we arrived on time. i held back the tears. we made the photos.
my BABY. she GRADUATED! from kindergarten. look out 1st grade!

it seems that one mom convinced a baseball team and stadium to "disinfect" and clear out all traces of peanuts so that her allergic son could attend games.hmm. . .
BUY ME SOME PEANUTS AND CRACKER JACKS? even the cracker jacks have peanuts! what about the other 99.9% of the fans, who are NOT allergic?

MAY I SUGGEST. . . "BUY HIM SOME EPI, A STEROID PACK! GIVE ALL THE OTHERS THEIR PEANUTS BACK!" . . . just a thought.

Summer is here. SOON, the camps will open their gates, and we can wave bye-bye for a month! then there are the amusement parks (only 7 hrs. away!), the beaches, the mosquitoes, the sweet sound of "I AM BORED!" until the doors of the SCHOOLS open, once again. and, when they do. . .

MY BABY WILL ENTER FIRST GRADE! THANK YOU GOD! TWELVE MORE YEARS OF THE UPS AND DOWNS OF MOTHERHOOD BEFORE MY LAST BIRD FLIES!
